Here they come-The FTC Class of 2016!!! Congratulations to a great class of students and FTC sends best wishes for success and happiness!
The 42nd Commencement Exercises highlighted some of the great achievements happening at Five Towns College. First, to the Valedictorian, Melanie Magri, and the Salutatorian, Michael Makowski, FTC commends you for your hard work and terrific speeches.
Next, FTC was proud to recognize Professors Mary LoBiondo and William Fortgang as the recipients of the Lorraine Kleinman Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching; Mark Shaughnessy for the Presidential Award for Distinguished Service; and Paul McKenna for the Distinguished Alumnus Award.
Of course, FTC is proud of the recipients of the Academic Honor Awards, including Mastora Goya, Nicholas Curcio, Norman Obadiaru, Anthony Sallustio, Alyssa Mercurio, Mario Palmer, Minyoung An, Jonathan Moret, John Testa, Jessica Mahon, Ariana Kaltenbach, Naomi Smith, Christina Menfi, Domenic Pellegrini, and Javan Zapata. And, congratulations to the recipients of the Provost’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, including Gregory Almeida, John Forry, Kira Karl, Melanie Magri, Michael Makowski, Alyssa Mercurio, Maria Palmer and Kyle Young.
FTC was proud to bestow Honorary Doctorate Awards on News 12 Long Island Anchor, Danielle Campbell (D.H.L.), Paramount Theater Businessman, James Condron (D.C.S.) and Musician/Drummer Extraordinaire, Bernard Purdie (Mus. D.).
Commencement is always a happy day! FTC is so proud of all the graduates and looks forward to their continued involvement with the College as alumni!!
