And, . . . the Best Social Programming Award Goes to Five Towns College:
Deserved Recognition from LICSPA for S.T.A.G.E.
The Long Island Council of Student Personnel Administrators (LICSPA) conveyed the Best Social Programming Award to the FTC Student Life Office for its Student Talent and Grand Entertainment a/k/a S.T.A.G.E. program.
This was no easy feat! Students and FTC administrators labor long and hard each fall semester to schedule, meet, practice, organize and manage a multi-month program involving all.
The S.T.A.G.E. event has become a real tradition on campus! Moreover, this event evidences FTC student learning across all academic disciplines as it is a true example of how the students on stage are supported by their peer students behind the scenes, in the production and technical areas, and are visible filming and reporting about Student Talent and Grand Entertainment in the FTC Performing Arts Center. Congratulations to the FTC Student Life Office and to Tom O’Boyle, Joy Grynko, Christian Altamura, Akimme Parker and team!! Way to go!
