College Living/Learning Center

Education extends from the classroom into the spaces we live. Living with others provides infinite opportunities to learn about other cultures, beliefs, and lifestyles. Living with others also prepares us for a lifetime of interactions with people from all walks of life. Living in a residence hall teaches us to accept others for who they are. Moreover, it offers opportunities to learn social skills, strengthen communication skills, learn respect and tolerance for others, and above all provides opportunities for fun and to develop new relationships.

The Office of Residence Life (ORL) offers four residence halls with clean and private living spaces equipped with private bathrooms. ORL offers double and single occupancy rooms to all resident students. However, single room occupancy is limited on campus and only available on a first-come, first-served basis. In some instances, single rooms can be available to students who need reasonable accommodations, based on proper documentation.

Students with disabilities may apply for reasonable accommodations and housing opportunities that may be granted provided the ORL is able to fulfill the request. Students should request specific accommodations needed each year on their housing application forms. Please note that as stated above, single room requests are very limited and there is no expectation that students who had one in the past will get one again nor can any student expect that one is available.
