FTC STUDENTS PARTY AT A SPOOK-TACULAR BASH
By Jacob Bila
Five Towns College students walked through an outdoor “haunted walkway” to celebrate Halloween in the Downbeat on October 31st. Students danced until midnight in various costumes to music by DJ Stan the Man, who returned to FTC for another night to bring the beat.
“The Halloween party was incredible. I enjoyed every minute of it,” said Mass Communication- Audio student Patrick DePace, one of the “scarers” of the haunted walkway who described his outfit as an apocalypse survivor. “Everybody was just having a really good time. They had two conga-lines form around the dance floor. It was a really great time for everybody, and I’m just so glad that it was so lively.”
Students donned costumes, including Moon Knight, witches, and more. I showed up as Instagram influencer, “Dude with Sign,” which is his handle name on the platform as @dudewithsign. Literally.
Business Management and Marketing student Jan Jagielski got spiffed up as 16TH US President Abraham Lincoln. Jagielski felt that the party was another example that shows how FTC Events knows how to celebrate. “Overall, I thought it was very well organized. Kudos to Natalie and everybody else who participated.”
