FTC Women’s Basketball Named #1 Seed in HVIAC Championships

On Saturday, February 19th, the Five Towns College Women’s Basketball team beat the Berkeley Knights 68-63. The win guaranteed the team the #1 seed in the HVIAC Championship game, which will be played on Sunday, February 27th. The Sound will once again face Berkeley, who is seeded #2. The two teams already face off twice during the regular season, with Five Towns coming out on top in both contests.

Head coach Anthony Alfaro discussed his team’s place in the HVIAC Championships, “It’s very exciting for the college to have this kind of atmosphere here…. For us, it’s really a part of our process, trying not to get too high or too low. ”

The Women’s Final will be held on Sunday, February 27th at 1 pm in the Sound Arena.
