Jacob Eifert
Class of 2019
B.P.S. Business Management /Audio Recording Technology
In 2019, Jacob Eifert graduated with a Bachelor of Professional Studies (B.P.S.) in Business Management and a concentration in Audio Recording Technology.
Currently, he is working as an Audio Engineer at Key+Needle Recording Studios in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. His daily tasks at the studio include recording, mixing, and mastering tracks for several different clients, as well as helping with music production in a variety of genres. In addition, Jacob works as a Live Sound Assistant and Monitor Engineer for the Patchogue Theatre on Long Island.
And that’s not all! As busy as Jacob is, he finds time to give back while teaching high school students how to get started in the industry, including what tools they may need to become a successful musician. He does this as a Music Production teacher for The Music on the RISE Foundation (MOTR). According to its website, MOTR “is an organization that brings music education resources and music industry guidance to the youth of underserved communities in the NYC metropolitan area. Our organization’s purpose is to help the younger generations that live in these areas achieve meaningful and enriching experiences that will lead them to personal growth, improvement in their academics, and a greater chance at financial stability.”
