Joe DiCanio graduated Magna Cum Laude from Five Towns College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film/Video. Often heard quoting Disney films and books since the age of three, Joe fed his hunger for the business by writing, directing, and producing three short films while studying at the College. His work in his junior and senior years earned him several nominations from the FTC Film/Video program’s prestigious Luminaries Awards, including Best Actress, and back-to-back Best Director and Best Cinematography awards.
Once he graduated, Joe began working as a videographer across Long Island, shooting high school sporting events, countless plays, weddings, sweet sixteen parties, as well as directing and producing several commercials. He has also spent the better part of the last decade working at several prominent performing art schools where he teaches acting and produces plays for children, five to seventeen years old. In addition, Joe serves as the Acting Director at Prestige Performing Arts in East Northport while running his own videography business on the side.
